- ½ tsp salt
- ⅛ tsp baking soda
- 1 cup plus 2 tbsp (160g) all-purpose flour
- 1 cup (5oz/142g) dark chocolate, chopped into chunks
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, whisk together melted butter, dark brown sugar, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, eggs, espresso powder, and salt until smooth.
- Fold in baking soda and then gently mix in the flour until just combined. Incorporate the dark chocolate chunks.
- Spread the batter evenly in the prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown on top.
- Let cool completely before cutting into squares and sprinkling with flaky sea salt.
