- 4 ears fresh corn or 2–3 cups corn kernels
- 2 cups heavy cream
Instructions
- Sauté onion, bell pepper, celery, and garlic in melted butter until soft.
- Gradually add flour to create a roux; cook until golden.
- Stir in shrimp stock, water, apple juice/vinegar, and Cajun seasoning; simmer.
- Add corn kernels; after 5 minutes, fold in shrimp until pink.
- Stir in warmed cream; season with black pepper or more Cajun seasoning.
