- 8 oz cooked hot sausage (Italian or your choice), crumbled
- 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup tomato sauce
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Optional: red pepper flakes, Italian seasoning, fresh arugula or spinach for topping
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C) along with a pizza stone if using.
- Roll out the pizza dough to your desired thickness and place it on a baking sheet or pizza stone.
- Brush the dough with olive oil and pre-bake for about 5 minutes until slightly firm.
- Spread tomato sauce over the crust and sprinkle with mozzarella cheese.
- Distribute crumbled sausage and feta evenly over the top.
- Bake for 10-15 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
- Drizzle honey over the pizza upon removing it from the oven.
- Optionally, top with fresh arugula or spinach before slicing and serving hot.
