Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and sauté sliced onions and bell peppers until soft (about 5-7 minutes).
- Incorporate the thinly sliced steak and minced garlic into the skillet; cook until browned but tender (around 4-5 minutes).
- Slice the French baguette lengthwise without cutting all the way through; scoop out some interior bread.
- Fill each baguette half with the steak mixture and top generously with shredded cheese.
- Place on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
