- 2 cups milk
- 3/4 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
- 3/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon fine sea salt
Instructions
- In a large saucepan, heat milk, cream, sugar, and cocoa powder over medium heat until simmering; then remove from heat.
- Place chocolate chips in a blender and pour the hot mixture over them. Let it sit for a few minutes before adding vanilla extract and sea salt. Blend until smooth.
- Pour the mixture into ice pop molds and freeze for about 30 minutes before inserting wooden sticks. Freeze overnight until completely solid.
- To release popsicles, run warm water over the outside of the molds.
