  • 12 tablespoons milk (to adjust consistency)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the ranch dressing by whisking together mayonnaise, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, dried dill, parsley, salt, black pepper, and milk to desired consistency. Refrigerate until ready.
  2. In one bowl, mix flour, cornmeal (if using), garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. In another bowl, whisk together eggs and milk.
  3. Dip each mushroom slice into the egg mixture followed by the flour mixture until fully coated. Let rest for about 5 minutes.
  4. Heat vegetable oil in a deep skillet to 350°F (175°C). Fry mushrooms in batches for 2–3 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
