Instructions
- Prepare the cinnamon filling by mixing softened butter, light brown sugar, flour, ground cinnamon, and salt until smooth. Freeze for 10 minutes.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. In another large bowl, beat softened butter and granulated sugar until fluffy. Add egg and vanilla; mix well.
- Gradually incorporate dry ingredients into the wet mixture until combined.
- Layer half the dough in a bowl, add cinnamon filling pieces, top with remaining dough and more filling. Gently fold to create marbling.
- Chill dough balls for 10 minutes before baking at 350°F (175°C) for 10–12 minutes.
