Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, cream together cold butter and both sugars until light and fluffy.
- Beat in eggs one at a time until well combined.
- In another bowl, whisk together cake flour, all-purpose flour, cornstarch, baking soda, and salt; then gradually add to wet ingredients on low speed.
- Gently fold in chocolate chips and walnuts.
- Scoop large balls of dough onto parchment-lined baking sheets, leaving space between each cookie.
- Bake for about 10 minutes until edges are golden but centers remain soft.
- Allow cooling on baking sheets for five minutes before transferring to wire racks.
