- 1 ½ pound salmon fillet
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter (melted)
- ½ teaspoon kosher salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 8 lemon wedges
- 1 teaspoon chopped parsley
- 1 teaspoon chopped dill
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375ºF (191ºC) and line a baking sheet with foil.
- Place the salmon skin-side down on the prepared sheet. Brush with half of the melted butter, then season with salt and pepper.
- Drizzle the remaining butter over the salmon, add minced garlic, and arrange lemon wedges around it.
- Bake for about 12 minutes until the thickest part of the salmon reaches an internal temperature of 125ºF (52ºC).
- Switch to broil and cook for an additional 3 to 4 minutes until golden brown.
- Remove any skin if desired, garnish with parsley and dill, and serve with roasted lemon wedges.
