  • 1 (10 oz) can cream of mushroom soup
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 small onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced (optional)
  • 1 tbsp vegetable broth

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix gently and form into patties.
  3. Sear patties in a skillet over medium heat for 2-3 minutes on each side until browned. Transfer to the baking dish.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together cream of mushroom soup, milk, and vegetable broth. Pour over the patties and top with sliced onions and mushrooms if desired.
  5. Cover with foil and bake for 30-35 minutes. Remove foil and bake an additional 10 minutes until bubbly and fully cooked.
  6. Let rest for a few minutes before serving warm.
